This film of Aamir Khan is based on Punjab. Before its release, Aamir Khan showed the film to the Sikh committee Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC). Even before starting the shooting, the makers had shown the script of Lal Singh Chaddha to the members of SGPC and everyone liked the film even at that time.
The film is based on Punjab and Aamir Khan will be seen playing the role of Sardar in it, so the makers wanted every detail shown in the film to be accurate. With this, Aamir Khan recently also told that he is not in a hurry to bring his film on OTT. He said that he is thinking of bringing it on OTT after 6 months of theatrical release.
