West Indies batter Shai Hope on Sunday came the tenth batter to score a century in his 100th ODI. The swish West Indies nature achieved this accomplishment during the alternate ODI against India at Queens' Park Oval at Port of Spain. He's also the fourth West Indies batter to do so. A six on the fourth delivery of 45th over sailed by incentive Yuzvendra Chahal took the batter to this memorable century.

Coming to the match, West Indies posted311/6 in their 50 overs after taking to club first. A 65- run stage between Shai Hope and Kyle Mayers( 39) gave Windies a great launch. It was followed by a 62- run stage between Hope and Shamarh Brooks( 35). 

After Brandon King fell snappily, a 117- run stage happed between Hope and Captain Nicholas Pooran( 74). Shardul Thakur, the Indian leader confined run inflow to an extent in the final 10 overs and took three lattices, but the Windies had posted a massive score. Thakur finished as the stylish bowler for India with3/54. India chased down the target in49.4 overs with two lattices to spare.
