Draupadi Murmu took oath as the President of the country today. Draupadi Murmu after taking the oath of office in the Central Hall of Parliament House said, I am the first President of the country, who was born in independent India. We have to step up our efforts to fulfill the expectations of our freedom fighters along with the citizens of independent India.Draupadi Murmu said, I was born in a tribal village in Odisha. But it is the power of the country's democracy that brought me this far.
